SunSirs: LME Tin and Shanghai Tin Both Went up at Night

The commodity price index BPI on May 19 was 725 points, an increase of 3 points from May 18, a decrease of 28.85% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,019 points (2012-April-10), and 660 points (9.85%) from the lowest point of February 03, 2016. (Note: the period refers to 2011-December-01 to present).

The tin commodity index on May 19 was 69.15, an increase of 0.45 points from May 18, a decrease of 31.02% from the highest point in the cycle of 100.25 points (2011-September-05), and an increase of 61.34 from the lowest point of 42.86 on December 9, 2015 %. (Note: the period refers to 2011-September-01 to present).

On May 19, the US dollar index continued to fall, at 99.57, down 0.06%, and once fell to 99.22; data showed that the UK unemployment rate in April was 5.8%, the previous value was 3.5%. In contrast, it rose by 2.3 percentage points; ECB President Lagarde said that although the German Supreme Court questioned the legitimacy of one of the ECB ’s debt purchase plans, the central bank will continue to implement the purchase plan, suggesting that the ECB is ready, it is a good challenge to the German court's decision; Crude oil: the price of the US WTI crude oil futures market rose, and the main contract settlement price was reported at 31.96 USD per barrel, an increase of 0.31 US dollars. Brent crude oil futures market prices fell, the main contract settlement price reported 34.81 US dollars / barrel, a decrease of 0.16 US dollars. Affected by this, most LME metals rose, with nickel up 1.8%,  tin up 1.2%, lead up 1.1%, zinc up 0.5%, copper up 0.1%, and aluminum down 0.8%. In the Chinese futures market, Shanghai tin rose 1.5%, nickel rose 1.2%, lead rose 0.2%, copper and zinc fell 0.1%, stainless steel fell 0.3%, and aluminum and screw fell 0.4%.

The trend of LME tin: it opened at US $ 15,310 / ton, the highest was US $ 15,420 / ton, the lowest was US $ 15,170 / ton, closing at US $ 15,420 / ton, up US $ 185 / ton. 256 lots traded; 17,260 lots held, a decrease of 20 lots.

The trend of Shanghai tin: Shanghai Tin 2007 contract opened at 130,920 yuan / ton, the highest was 132,830 yuan / ton, the lowest was 130,920 yuan / ton, and the closing price was 132,780 yuan / ton, up 2,170 yuan / ton. 18,446 lots were traded, 29,135 lots were held, a decrease of 213 lots.
