SunSirs: LME Tin was Lower at Night

The BPI of the Commodity Price Index on March 23 was 743, a decrease of 8 points, which was 27.09% lower than the peak point of the cycle at 1,019 (April 01, 2012)0, and 660 points higher than the lowest point since February 03, 2016, up 12.58%. (Note: The period refers to December 1, 2011 to present).

The tin commodity index on March 23 was 60.62, unchanged from March 22, down 39.53% from the highest point of the cycle at 100.25 (September 5, 2011), and 41.44% higher than the lowest point of 42.86 on December 9, 2015. (Note: Period refers to September 1, 2011 to present).

On the 23rd, the three major US stock indexes closed down across the board because the US Congress did not reach a second vote on the new stimulus policy. On Monday, Eastern time, the three major US stock indexes closed down collectively. At the close, the Dow fell nearly 600 points, or 3.04%, the Nasdaq fell 0.27%, and the S & P fell 2.93%. European stocks closed down collectively. As of the close, the British FTSE 100 index fell by 3.79%. The German DAX30 index fell 2.10%. Affected by this, LME Metal was green across the board, LME Copper fell 2.11%, LME Aluminum fell 1.08%, LME Zinc fell 1.46%, LME Nickel fell 3.66%, LME Tin fell 2.77%, LME Lead fell 1.60%; the domestic market, Shanghai Copper fell 4.39%, Shanghai Aluminum fell 5.42%, Shanghai Zinc fell 2.82%, Shanghai Lead fell 0.64%, Shanghai Nickel fell 4.10%, Shanghai Tin fell 6.19%, Thread fell 2.38%, and Stainless Steel fell 1.54%.

Trend of LME tin: LME tin Electronics opened at 13,500 US dollars / ton yesterday, the highest was 13,825 US dollars / ton, the lowest was 12,700 US dollars / ton, the closing price was 13,180 US dollars / ton, down 375 US dollars / ton. 397 contracts were traded throughout the day; positions were 17,406 contracts, a decrease of 91 contracts. The stock of 6,325 tons is 65 tons less than the previous period.

Shnghai tin trend: The domestic market has suspended night trading.
