In October 2023, a total of 7 new paper machine production lines from 6 pulp and paper companies in China were put into operation, with a newly released pulp and paper production capacity of approximately 2.58 million tons/year.

In early October, the entire deinking pulp line provided by Andritz to Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Industry's Pinghu factory was successfully started, with a production capacity of 200 tons/day.

In early October, the No. 2 toilet paper machine of Sichuan Xinye Paper Industry Co., Ltd. was turned on. This paper machine is provided by Baoding Changda Paper Machinery Co., Ltd. The paper machine is designed with a speed of 1,200m/min and a net paper width of 2,850mm. It uses commercial pulp to produce high-end household paper, with a single machine design capacity of 20,000 tons/year.

In early October, two high-end XcelLine packaging paper machines, Nanning PM2 and Nanning PM3, supplied by Voith at Sun Paper's Nanning base, successfully started up and reached production ahead of schedule. Nanning PM2&3 units have a width of 6.66 meters and a design speed of 1,200 meters per minute. PM2 machine mainly produces high-quality packaging paper with a quantitative range of 140-250 grams per square meter, with an annual production capacity of approximately 520,000 tons. PM3 machine mainly produces high-quality packaging paper with a quantitative range of 100-160 grams per square meter, with an annual production capacity of approximately 480,000 tons.

On October 15th, the paper production line for the 350,000 ton high-end cardboard project of Hubei Rongcheng Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was officially completed and put into operation.

On October 20th, the Golden Eagle (Rugao) Asia Pacific Senbo Phase I production line with an annual output of 1 million tons of white cardboard was officially launched.

On October 28th, the PM3 corrugated paper production line of Guotou Xuancheng Wanli Paper Industry Co., Ltd. was successfully started and produced paper. The main equipment of this paper machine is provided by Qinyang Yiji, with a width of 6,200 millimeters and a design speed of 750 meters/minute. After starting, the speed reaches 600 meters. The project can produce 200,000 tons of high-strength corrugated paper annually after reaching its production capacity.
