Analysis review

The factory price of domestic coconut shell activated charcoal for water purification was between 9,600-12,500 RMB/ton. Most of the manufacturers' quotations were stable, with some rising. There were few domestic manufacturers of physical method and Zinc chloride method. The supply was small, the price fluctuation was small, and the products were mostly sold according to orders. After entering June, the demand of the domestic activated charcoal market was still not optimistic. The industry still reported that the downstream consumption was generally small, and the overall purchase and sales of the market were relatively light.

Coconut shell charcoal had been selling slightly better recently. According to feedback from manufacturers, the spot supply of gold extraction charcoal was tight, especially for charcoal that needs polishing. The supply of purified water charcoal was still acceptable, and some factories had strong order taking capacity. The production of small particle charcoal with high iodine value was low, and the supply was still tight, with high prices.

Market outlook

As of the 26th, the overall supply of activated charcoal market was sufficient, and the market urgently needed positive news to boost it. It is expected that the price of activated charcoal will mainly fluctuate in a narrow range in the short term.
