U.S. net wheat sales for 2022/23 were 500.400 tons for the week ending January 19, 2023, 6% above the previous week and 84% above the four-week average. Major buyers included Japan (108.100 tons), Mexico (91.000 tons), unknown destinations (89.000 tons), South Korea (74.300 tons), and Taiwan (45.400 tons), but sales to Chile fell by 2.300 tons. Net sales in 2023/24 are 61.000 tonnes, to Mexico. Exports for the week were 264.200 tons, 15% lower than last week, but 15% higher than the four-week average. The main destinations include South Korea (90.800 tons), Japan (56.000 tons), Chile (47.700 tons), Mexico (35.000 tons), and Colombia (10.700 tons).
