According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the market price of trichloroethylene in barrels remained stable and increased this week (3.18-3.25). On March 18th, the average market price of trichloroethylene in barrels was 6,560 RMB/ton, and on March 25th, the average market price of trichloroethylene in barrels was 6,600 RMB/ton. The price of trichloroethylene had increased by 0.61%.

Analysis review

The price of trichloroethylene remained stable, and the market transaction atmosphere was light. On the 25th, major factories raised prices, which were expected to boost market activity. The domestic market was sluggish and the export situation was optimistic. According to customs data, the total export volume of trichloroethylene from January to February was 3,987.96 tons, a year-on-year increase of about 1.6%.

Recently, the price of calcium carbide had continued to rise, with a 2.29% increase last week. The rapid recovery of profits in calcium carbide production enterprises had boosted their enthusiasm to start production, and their supply capacity had recently shown a significant improvement.

The ethylene CFR Northeast Asia quotation had increased by 5 US dollars/ton this week.

The liquid chlorine market continued to rise, with factories in Shandong Province priced at 300-600 RMB/ton, an increase of 100 RMB/ton from the previous working day. Supported by the supply side, the shipment situation of enterprises was good, and the market was operating at a high level.

On the demand side, the downstream refrigerant R134a market supply was stable, and downstream purchases were made on demand. The benchmark price of R134a by SunSirs was 30,666.67 RMB/ton, and the manufacturer maintained an attitude to support the price.

Market outlook
