According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of March 15th, the average price of refrigerant R22 was 24,166.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.11% from the beginning of the month's price of 23,666.67 RMB/ton, and an increase of 16.94% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of March 15th, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 30,666.67 RMB/ton, which WAs the same as the beginning of the month and an increase of 20.26% compared to the same period last year.

Analysis review

Entering mid March, the domestic price of chloroform continued to be strong, rising by 0.36% within the week. The overall price of hydrofluoric acid remained stable, while upstream raw material costs remained stronger and downstream demand remained unchanged. Supported by costs and demand, the domestic R22 market price continued to remain strong this week.

Entering mid March, the upstream raw material prices of R134a remained stable and moving forward, with raw material fluctuations stabilizing. Downstream stocking was initiated, and with support from costs and demand, domestic R134a prices continued to remain strong this week.

Market outlook

SunSirs’ refrigerant analysts believe that with the dual support of cost and demand, domestic R22 and R134a prices will continue to remain strong in the short term.
