Industry officials predict that India's soybean oil imports will reach 4.3 million tons in 2023/2024 (November to October of the following year), an increase of nearly 23% from 3.5 million tons in 2022/2023. In contrast, India's palm oil imports are expected to decrease to 9.2 million tons in 2023/2024, a decrease of 8% from 10 million tons in 2022/2023.
