Upstream Lithium carbonate: According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, on July 27, the reference price of lithium carbonate industrial grade was 281,000.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 5.7% compared with July 1 (298,000.00 RMB/ton). On July 27, the reference price of lithium carbonate battery grade was 301,000.00 RMB/ton, which was 3.65% lower than that on July 1 (312,400.00 RMB/ton). In July, the upstream lithium carbonate fell under pressure, which had insufficient support for the lithium hydroxide market, dragging the market mentality.

Market outlook

As of July 27th, the price of spodumene concentrate was temporarily stable, and the cost and supply side had some support, but the demand side was weak.
