According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average price of domestic liquid CPL was 12,037 RMB/ton on July 10, and the average price of domestic liquid CPL was 12,162 RMB/ton on July 14. The price of CPL rose 1.04% this week.

Analysis review

CPL market prices rose this week. The price of raw material pure benzene rose, and cost support was strengthened. The spot price of CPL rose with the cost. As of July 14, the supply side was gradually increasing, and the downstream was mainly purchasing on demand. The CPL market continued to be strong. As of July 14, the delivery price of Shandong Hualu Hengsheng’s CPL liquid in East China was 12,400 RMB/ton. The settlement price of Sinopec high-end liquid premium CPL was 12,550 RMB/ton.

The price of raw material pure benzene had slightly increased this week. On July 10th, the price of pure benzene was 6,378 RMB/ton. On Friday (July 14th), the price of pure benzene was 6,396 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.17% compared to last week and a decrease of 29.77% compared to the same period last year. This week, the price of Sinopec pure benzene remained stable at 6,600 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

CPL analysts from SunSirs believe that the price of raw material pure benzene continued to rise recently, and the cost side support was favorable. The market supply had not eased yet, and terminal demand was followed up as needed. Under the favorable market factors, it is expected that the CPL market will continue to be stronger and rise in the short term.
