According to data from SunSirs, seamless tubes saw a slight decline this week. As of the weekend, the price of seamless tubes 20# and 108 * 4.5 was 5,092.5 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.24% compared to the beginning of the week and a year-on-year decrease of 19.01%.

Analysis review

This week, the national inventory was 805,000 tons, an increase of 12,100 tons compared to last week. The operating rate of seamless tube factories nationwide was 59.8%, a decrease of 1.64% compared to last week.

This week's seamless tube transaction fell short of expectations, and the overall release was slow. Downstream merchants tended to be cautious and focused on on-demand procurement. The tube factory orders were average, and the factory inventory increased for two consecutive weeks, while the social inventory increased simultaneously. The supply of tube factories had slightly contracted, profits had narrowed, and the willingness of tube factories to raise prices was relatively strong.
