Analysis review

Recently, the market price of ECH was stable with an adjustment. From the perspective of supply and demand: recently, the capacity utilization rate of ECH was relatively low, the production enterprises mainly delivered orders, and there was no pressure on the supply side, but the downstream market inquiries were limited, the purchasing enthusiasm was not high, and the market atmosphere was stalemate. The focus of ECH negotiations was mainly stable, with narrow adjustments.

From the upstream and downstream perspective: recently, the price of raw propylene was weak, the raw glycerin was stable, and the cost support for ECH was weakened. The reference price of the downstream epoxy resin was 15,700.00 RMB/ton on December 9, a decrease of 4.07% compared with December 1 (16,366.67 RMB/ton), which had insufficient support for the ECH market.

Market outlook

According to the ECH analysts of SunSirs, the current cost support is average. The downstream just follow up with small orders, and the market atmosphere is light. It is expected that the ECH market will wait and see in the short term, and more attention should be paid to the supply side.
