Moscow-based consulting firm SovEcon said Tuesday that Ukraine's wheat production this year will reach 22.9 million tons, 1.5 million tons higher than previously expected. SovEcon also raised its 2025 corn production forecast to 31.8 million tons, 900,000 tons higher than previously expected.
The firm noted in a report that southern Ukraine was hit by extreme heat and drought, while central and northern regions benefited from cooler, wetter weather.
