The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Weekly Export Inspections Report shows that U.S. corn export inspections last week were above expectations, down 12% from the previous week but up 16% year-over-year. For the week ending September 18, 2025, U.S. corn export inspections totaled 1,329,024 tons, compared to a revised 1,512,965 tons the previous week and 1,150,305 tons the same week last year.

Before the report's release, analysts had expected corn export inspections to range from 1.1 million to 1.65 million tons.

No U.S. corn shipments were made to China that week, nor were there any shipments made last week.

So far in the 2025/26 marketing year, U.S. corn export inspections totaled 3,491,759 tons, up 58.6% year-over-year and 105.7% last week.

So far in the 2025/26 marketing year, corn export inspections have met the USDA's target by 4.62%, compared to 2.86% last week.
