The US Department of Agriculture's Export Inspection Weekly Report shows that the inspection volume of US corn exports last week was at the lower end of the expected range, a decrease of 21% from a week ago and a decrease of 5% from the same period last year. As of the week of July 31, 2025, the inspection volume of US corn exports was 1,207,642 tons, compared to the revised 1,532,153 tons last week and 1,272,227 tons in the same period last year.

Before the report was released, analysts expected the export inspection volume of corn to be between 1.1 million and 1.5 million tons.

The United States did not ship corn to China this week, and it did not ship corn to China last week either.

So far in 2024/25, the inspection volume of US corn exports has been 61,558,139 tons, a year-on-year increase of 28.4%, an increase of 29.3% last week, and an increase of 29.0% two weeks ago.

So far in 2024/25, the inspection volume of corn exports has reached 88.1% of the US Department of Agriculture's target, up from 86.4% last week.
