According to the statistics of SunSirs, seamless tubes fell first and then rose this week. As of the end of the week, the price of 20 # and 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was 4,937.5 RMB/ton, down 0.3% from the beginning of the week and down 16.63% year-on-year.

Analysis review

This week's national inventory was 689,000 tons, down 2,000 tons from last week. The operating rate of seamless tube plants in China was 62.1%, with a weekly increase of 4.3%.

This week, the downstream construction resumed slightly, the tube factory's shipment improved, some orders before the year were delivered in succession, the overall tube factory inventory decreased slightly, and the Shandong inventory rose slightly.

The delivery of the tube factory in the past two days was considerable, and the overall inventory in the factory was normally high due to the undelivered orders before the festival, but the pressure on the supply side was not large, so there was a certain willingness to increase the price.

Market outlook

It is expected that the market price of seamless tube will rise in a narrow range.
