The latest price (September 11): 2850.00 RMB/ton
On September 11th, the factory price of calcium carbide in the Northwest China region increased slightly, which was up by 16.67 RMB/ton compared with the price on September 9. The increase was 0.59%. Although the upstream coke spot market price is low, the product goes down due to the contradictions between supply and demand. However, the recent downstream PVC market has risen slightly, which drives the demand for calcium carbide by downstream customers.
Recently, the ex-factory price of calcium carbide in the northwest region may be consolidating at a low level: the manufacturer's price is around 2,850 RMB/ton.
