Price trend

On March 11, the domestic rare earth market price index fell. On March 11, the rare earth index was 985 points, down 1 point from previous day, down 2.18% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,007 points (2022-02-24), and up 263.47% points from the lowest point of 271 points on September 13, 2015. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 to the present)

Analysis review

The trend of domestic rare earth index declined, and the price trend of domestic light rare earth praseodymium and neodymium series dropped. The price of praseodymium neodymium oxide fell by 5,000 RMB/ton to 1.065 million RMB/ton, the price of Pr-Nd alloy fell by 5,000 RMB/ton to 1.34 million RMB/ton, and the price of praseodymium oxide fell by 50 million RMB/ton to 1.075 million RMB/ton. The price of neodymium oxide was 1.17 million RMB/ton, the price of metal praseodymium was 1.39 million RMB/ton, the price of metal neodymium was 1.44 million RMB/ton, and the price of dysprosium oxide fell by 5,000 RMB/ton to 3.055 million RMB/ton. The price of Dy-Fe alloy fell by 10,000 RMB/ton to 3.05 million RMB/ton, and the price of metal dysprosium was 3.975 million RMB/ton.

The price trend of the domestic light rare earth market has declined, and the recent procurement has been general. The price of dysprosium series in the domestic heavy rare earth market has declined, and the price of terbium series has fallen. Downstream is mainly on-demand procurement, and it is prohibited from exporting in Myanmar.

Market outlook

It is expected that the domestic rare earth market price will decline slightly in the later period.
