SunSirs: Supply and Demand Was Balanced in the Cyclohexane Market in July, with Limited Price Fluctuations

Price trend

According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of July 28th, the average price of domestic industrial grade premium cyclohexane was 6,500 RMB/ton, which was stable compared to the same period last week. The overall market supply and demand in July was balanced, and the price fluctuation range was not large. The low point in July was 6,433.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of July. After a slight decline, there was a rapid rebound, and the price remained around 6,500 RMB/ton.

Analysis review

In July, the market price of cyclohexane was narrowly weaker, with mainstream prices ranging from 6,500 to 6,600 RMB/ton. Compared to last week's price, there was no significant change in prices. The range of quotes from mainstream manufacturers remained around 6,400 RMB/ton, the operating rate was stable, downstream procurement was mainly on demand, and the negotiation atmosphere was average. The latest price of the enterprise: Shandong Zhenkun New Materials Co., Ltd. 6,300 RMB/ton, Shandong Yixin Chemical Co., Ltd. 7,000 RMB/ton, Liaocheng Yuze Chemical Products Co., Ltd. 6,600 RMB/ton, Shandong Zhenkun New Materials Co., Ltd. 6,900 RMB/ton.

Chemical Index: On July 27th, the chemical index stood at 839 points, an increase of 5 points compared to the previous day, a decrease of 40.07% from the cycle's highest point of 1,400 points (2021-10-23), and an increase of 40.30% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).

Market outlook
