SunSirs: Polysilicon Prices Continued to Decline This Week (June 26-30)
July 03 2023 10:45:33SunSirs(John)

Price trend

This week, the domestic polysilicon market remained weak, and prices continued to decline this week, with a slight slowdown in decline.

Analysis review

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, polysilicon fell by 7.0% this week. On the supply side, silicon material production capacity continued to be released, and large silicon material factories maintained high start-up rates, while manufacturers still faced significant inventory pressure. On the demand side, the performance was sluggish, and silicon wafer prices remained low. Silicon wafer manufacturers were slowing down their procurement of silicon materials, and it is expected that there may still be room for a decline in silicon material prices. As of 30th, the mainstream range of single crystal dense materials with a model of first-class solar energy was maintained at 65,000-80,000 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

Recently, the silicon material market had abundant supply and relatively weak demand, and prices clearly bottomed out. It is expected that prices will remain weak after stabilizing in the near future.
