According to the observation of market changes, last week's price of waste yellow board paper and that of corrugated base paper showed a stable trend. In 2020, New Year’s Day was only a day off, which had not had a great impact on the market demand of paper products. Due to last week's transition from the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020, the demand and sales of each paper mill were in a stable state. In terms of waste paper, due to the approaching of New Year’s Day, paper mills in some regions began to issue notice of shutdown, overhaul and holiday, which led to the decrease of waste paper demand and the phenomenon of a small decline or the shutdown of waste paper collection. The space for the price increase of national waste yellow board paper had been limited.

Last week, the price of corrugating base paper was still stable, and the early rising heat gradually returned to cooling. The arrival of the new year ahead of schedule had a certain impact on market demand.
