According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the average price of rapeseed oil spot market on December 5th was 9,975 RMB/ton, and on December 9th, the average price of rapeseed oil spot market was 9,801 RMB/ton, with a price drop of 1.74% during this period.
Recently, rapeseed oil prices have been continuously declining. The latest report from Statistics Canada shows that Canada's rapeseed production is expected to increase by 13.3% in 2025, reaching 21.8 million tons, setting a historical record; In addition, the negative news brought by the arrival of Australian rapeseed in Hong Kong has suppressed the continuous decline in rapeseed oil prices. Oil consumption has entered the off-season, dragging down the rapeseed oil market. With the gradual arrival of imported rapeseed at the port, the operating rate of oil factories has rebounded, and the expected supply of rapeseed oil has improved. It is expected that rapeseed oil will mainly operate weakly.
