SunSirs: The Decline in Rapeseed Oil Inventory in East China Is Favorable for Prices
February 06 2026 10:50:14     SunSirs (Selena)
As of January 30, 2026, the rapeseed oil inventory in East China was 244,000 tons, a decrease of 8,500 tons from last week.
The rapeseed oil inventory in East China decreased by 8,500 tons to 244,000 tons compared to last week, indicating a tightening supply that may drive up spot prices. Based on futures market data, the main contract for rapeseed oil (such as the 2605 contract) has shown an upward trend in price recently (closing price of 9,243 RMB/ton, up 90 RMB from the previous day), and the signal of reduced inventory may further support the upward trend of futures prices, strengthening the market's optimistic expectations.
