SunSirs: The Total Oilseed Production of the 27 EU Countries is Expected to Reach 31.1 Million Tons by 2025

The report released by the European Association of Growers and Agricultural Cooperatives (Copa Cogeca) on Friday shows that the outlook for the oilseed market in the 27 EU countries in 2025 is relatively stable, with an expected total production of 31.1 million tons, a slight decrease of 0.8% from 2024. The total sowing area of oilseeds will slightly increase by 0.5%, and the yield per unit area will decrease by 1.3% compared to the previous year. Rapeseed production is expected to increase by 0.1% year-on-year, sunflower seed production is expected to decrease by 4.5%, and soybean production is expected to increase by 5.9%.
