SunSirs: The India Government Raises the Minimum Purchase Price for Rapeseed in 2025/2026

On Wednesday, the Indian government announced that the minimum supported price (MSP) for rapeseed for 2025/2026 is 5,990 rupees per 100 kilograms, which is 300 rupees higher than the current year's 5,650 rupees.
Rapeseed is the second largest oilseed crop in India after soybeans. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Jharkhand, and Assam are the main rapeseed producing regions.
