SunSirs: Canada's Rapeseed Exports Amounted to 180,000 Tons as of the Week Ending May 4

According to data released by Statistics Canada, the pace of Canadian rapeseed exports slightly accelerated in the 39th week of 2024/25. As of the week of May 4, 2025, Canada's rapeseed exports amounted to 180,000 tons, compared to 170,000 tons last week. The total export volume so far in 2024/25 is 7.88 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 70.0%, and a year-on-year increase of 69.3% last week.
The grain and oilseed (including wheat, durum wheat, barley, and rapeseed) market in Canada starts on August 1st each year and ends on July 31st of the following year.
