SunSirs: Canada's Rapeseed Exports Amounted to 140,000 Tons as of the Week Ending April 20

According to data released by Statistics Canada, the pace of Canadian rapeseed exports slowed down in the 37th week of 2024/25. As of the week ending April 20, 2025, Canada's rapeseed exports amounted to 140,000 tons, compared to 210,000 tons last week. The total export volume so far in 2024/25 is 7.52 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 72.3%, and a year-on-year increase of 74.3% last week.
The grain and oilseed (including wheat, durum wheat, barley, and rapeseed) market in Canada starts on August 1st each year and ends on July 31st of the following year.
