The EU also imported 540,000 tons of soybean meal from India, an increase of 20,000 tons from last week and 838% from 58,000 tons in the same period last year, with a share of 3.3%, higher than 0.4% in the same period last year.
Overall, the EU has imported 16.29 million tons of soybean meal so far in 2024/25, an increase of 520,000 tons from a week ago and a 24% increase from the same period last year. The EU imported 15.7 million tons of soybean meal in 2023/24, a year-on-year decrease of 2%.
