According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average domestic LNG price was 5,766 RMB/ton on July 11, and the average domestic LNG price on July 15 was 5,798 RMB/ton. Domestic LNG prices rose 0.55% this week.

Analysis review

Domestic LNG prices continued to rise this week, up 0.55% for the week. The domestic liquid price started to rise at the beginning of the week, the liquid price remained stable in the middle of the week, and the liquid price continued to rise at the weekend. LNG prices in various regions of the country were mixed. The liquid plant in Inner Mongolia was overhauled a lot, the price started to rebound and the shipment was smooth. However, the overall market demand was still weak and the increase was limited.

As of July 15, the price of LNG in Inner Mongolia was 5,730-5,800 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Shaanxi was 5,610-5,800 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Shanxi was 5,700-6,000 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Ningxia was 5,750-5,900 RMB/ton, the price of LNG in Hebei was 6,200-6,350 RMB/ton, and the price of LNG in Henan was 5,950-6,200 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

The LNG analyst of SunSirs believes that: the number of LNG plants being overhauled has increased recently, and the LNG market trend is stable and improving. But the market demand is weak, waiting for the release of terminal demand. It is expected that LNG prices will remain stable and consolidate in the short term.
