The price of NBR rose slightly last week. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the price of NBR was 19,466.676 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week and 19,566.67 RMB/ ton at the weekend, with a slight increase of 0.51%.

The ex factory price of NBR in China is basically stable. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of December 11, the price of NBR in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company was stable: at present, the price of NBR N41E was 17,300 RMB/ ton; 3305E was 17,900 RMB/ ton; 3308E was 18,800 RMB/ ton; in Ningbo shunze, the ex-factory price of NBR was stable, at present, the NBR of 3355 factory price was 18,600 RMB/ ton. In the early stage, the market of NBR N41, 3305 and other brands in Lanhua had a lot of stock, and the market price had a slight correction; because the market supply of NBR brands such as Nandi 1052 and Lanhua 3308 continued to be tight, the market quotation was still relatively firm.

The price of raw materials decreased slightly, and the support of cost side weakened. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of December 11, the butadiene price was 9,490 RMB/ ton, down 3.71% from 9,856 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week; as of December 11, the ex-factory price of acrylonitrile Shanghai Secco was 12,500 RMB/ ton, down 3.85% from 13,000 RMB/ ton at the beginning of the week. Raw material prices continue to moderate.

Finally, although the vaccine brings great hope, the number of confirmed cases and deaths in the world continues to increase, and the demand for medical NBR gloves is still strong, resulting in the tight supply of nitrile rubber, which forms a strong support for the whole NBR market.

SunSirs NBR analysts believe that the raw material price has a downward trend, but the downstream demand is still strong, and the price of China NBR may be adjusted in a narrow range in the short term.
