In December, the production of raw coal and crude oil by industrial enterprises above designated size (hereinafter referred to as industrial enterprises above designated size) remained stable, the production of natural gas grew steadily, and the production of electricity maintained growth.
1, Raw coal, crude oil and natural gas production and related situations
The output of raw coal decreased slightly while remaining stable. In December, the output of raw coal in industrial enterprises above designated size was 440 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.0%; the average daily output was 14.1 million tons.
From January to December, the output of raw coal in industrial enterprises above designated size was 4.83 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%.
Crude oil production remained stable. In December, the crude oil output of industrial enterprises above designated size was 17.8 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.6%; the average daily output was 574,000 tons.
From January to December, the crude oil output of industrial enterprises above designated size was 216.05 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%.
The growth rate of crude oil processing accelerated. In December, the crude oil processing volume of industrial enterprises above designated size was 62.46 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%, with the growth rate accelerating by 1.1 percentage points compared with November; the average daily processing volume was 2.015 million tons.
From January to December, the processing volume of crude oil in industrial enterprises above designated size was 737.59 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.
Natural gas production maintained steady growth. In December, the output of natural gas in industrial enterprises above designated size was 23 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%; the average daily output was 740 million cubic meters.
From January to December, the natural gas output of industrial enterprises above designated size was 261.9 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%.
2, Power Generation Situation
Industrial power generation above designated size maintained growth. In December, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 858.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%; the average daily power generation was 27.70 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to December, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size was 9,715.9 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%.
By type, in December, the decline in thermal power of industrial enterprises above designated size narrowed, while the growth rates of hydropower, nuclear power, wind power and solar power slowed down. Specifically, the thermal power of industrial enterprises above designated size decreased by 3.2% year-on-year, with the decline narrowing by 1.0 percentage point compared with November; the hydropower of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.1%, with the growth rate slowing down by 13.0 percentage points compared with November; the nuclear power of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 3.1%, with the growth rate slowing down by 1.6 percentage points compared with November; the wind power of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 8.9%, with the growth rate slowing down by 13.1 percentage points compared with November; the solar power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 18.2%, with the growth rate slowing down by 5.2 percentage points compared with November.
