On February 26th, the CCTD index of thermal coal was 5,500CV, at 735 RMB/ton (+6); 5,000CV， 659 RMB/ton (+6); 4,500CV， 569 RMB/ton (+5).

The CCTD index of thermal coal shows that the prices of 5,500CV, 5,000CV, and 4,500CV grades have increased by 6 RMB/ton, 6 RMB/ton, and 5 RMB/ton, respectively, reflecting the improvement of supply and demand in the spot market. The strong performance of the demand side or tight supply will push up spot prices in the short term.
