SunSirs: Brazil's Corn Exports Have Declined Significantly Year-on-year.
October 24 2025 10:26:57SunSirs(Selena)

Secex statistics show that Brazil's corn exports have slowed since October, lagging behind the same period last year. From October 1 to 17, Brazil exported 3.574 million tons of corn, compared to 6.405 million tons in October of the previous year.

Brazil's corn exports from October 1 to 17 were only 3.574 million tons, a 44.3% decrease from 6.405 million tons in the same period last year. This indicates a tightening global supply, particularly putting pressure on major importing countries such as China, and is bullish for spot prices. Combined with corn futures data (such as the settlement price of the main 2601 contract at 2,131 RMB/ton and increased open interest), the decline in exports could push up future contract prices, as reduced supply strengthens bullish market sentiment, positive for futures prices.
