FranceAgriMer released its monthly report on Wednesday, projecting French corn ending stocks for 2025/26 at 2.193 million tons, higher than the 2.16 million tons forecast in January and unchanged from the 2.192 million tons projected in 2024/25.
FranceAgriMer raised its 2025/26 corn export forecast to third countries by 30,000 tons to 4.567 million tons, but this is still a 4.3% decrease compared to the previous year; corn exports to other EU member states were lowered to 515,000 tons, lower than the 525,000 tons forecast last month and a 5.1% year-on-year decrease.
The report shows that French corn production for 2025/26 is estimated at 12.886 million tons, higher than the 12.699 million tons forecast last month, but a 6.5% decrease compared to the 13.777 million tons projected in 2024/25.
