On August 25, after more than two years of unremitting research, the ZhongRMB Oilfield obtained 99.4% pure industrial-grade lithium carbonate from produced water in the Dongpu old area, providing raw materials for the new energy battery industry.

On September 1, Tianqi Lithium announced plans to build a lithium sulfide project in Meishan, Sichuan. Construction has commenced on a pilot project with an annual production capacity of 50 tons of lithium sulfide.

Shaanxi Coal Geology recently successfully won the exploration rights for a lithium mine in Ruoqiang County, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

Separately, Sichuan Energy Power's 30,000-ton annual lithium salt project has successfully produced battery-grade lithium carbonate.
