According to customs data, soda ash imports in July reached 3,200 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2,000 tons. Cumulative soda ash imports from January to July reached 20,400 tons.

In addition, as of August 25, total inventory at domestic soda ash manufacturers was 1,888,100 tons, a decrease of 22,700 tons, or 1.19%, from the previous Thursday. Of this total, inventory of light soda ash was 746,900 tons, and inventory of heavy soda ash was 1,141,200 tons.

As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on August 26, the benchmark price for light soda ash on SunSirs was 1,220.00 RMB/ton, a 6.3% decrease from 1,302.00 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.

On August 26, the benchmark price of heavy soda ash from SunSirs was 1,290.00 RMB/ton, down 1.9% from the beginning of this month (1,315.00 RMB/ton).
