SunSirs: The U.S. Pima Cotton Export Shipments for 2024/25 Decreased

The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported that from July 11 to 17, 2025, the U.S. net export contract volume of upland cotton in 2024/25 was -7,416 tons, a significant decrease from the previous week and the average of the previous four weeks. The U.S. net export contract volume of upland cotton in 2025/26 was 30,100 tons.

The U.S. upland cotton shipments for 2024/25 were 41,900 tons, an increase of 18% from the previous week and a decrease of 12% from the average of the previous four weeks.

The U.S. net export contract volume of Pima cotton in 2024/25 was 1,247 tons, a significant increase from the previous week and the average of the previous four weeks. The U.S. net export contract volume of Pima cotton in 2025/26 was 3,946 tons.

The U.S. Pima cotton export shipments for 2024/25 were 1,134 tons, a decrease of 37% from the previous week and a decrease of 55% from the average of the previous four weeks.
