In late June 2025, the National Cotton Market Monitoring System launched a nationwide special survey on the growth of cotton. The survey results showed that the weather in the main cotton-producing areas was generally conducive to the appearance of cotton buds and bolls, and the overall degree of disaster was relatively light. It is expected that the yield of new cotton will be 158.7 kg/mu in 2025, an increase of 2.5% year-on-year.
