The price of raw material butadiene has been adjusted narrowly, while the price of styrene has significantly increased, and the cost support for SBR has greatly strengthened. Downstream tire production has fluctuated slightly, providing support for the rigid demand of SBR; The production of SBR has fluctuated slightly, and supply pressure still exists. As of the 18th, the mainstream market price of 1502 SBR in Fushun, Jihua, Yangzi, and Qilu in East China was around 11,200-12,300 RMB/ton.

In the short term, driven by energy prices, styrene prices are operating at a high level.
Supply and demand side: Recently (6.11-6.18), there have been slight fluctuations in downstream tire production, which has provided strong support for the demand in the SBR market. As of June 15th, the construction of semi steel tires by domestic tire companies has slightly increased to around 78%; The production of all steel tires by tire companies in Shandong Province has slightly decreased to around 61%.
From a fundamental perspective, analysts from SunSirs believe that the current cost support for SBR is stronger than in the previous period; The production of SBR is stable with slight fluctuations, and the supply pressure still exists; Downstream tires continue to provide rigid support for SBR.
