From the monitoring chart of SunSirs data, it can be seen that this week, the overall market for n-butanol in Shandong, China, had shown a fluctuating and declining trend. At the beginning of the week, downstream demand for n-butanol was weak, the inquiry atmosphere was poor, and the market focus was weak and downward. Subsequently, during the mid week period, the n-butanol market rebounded slightly, with some downstream buyers buying on dips and the market's focus briefly shifting upwards. Approaching the weekend, downstream demand for n-butanol had returned to a cold state, and the market situation had slightly declined again. As of April 19th, the domestic market price of n-butanol in Shandong region was around 7,800-7,900 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

As of April 19th, the trading atmosphere in the n-butanol market had been relatively light. Downstream procurement was based on quantity and demand, and overall market inquiries were cautious. SunSirs’ n-butanol data analysts believe that in the short term, the domestic n-butanol market in Shandong will mostly be adjusted to be weaker, and the specific trend still needs to pay more attention to changes in supply and demand news.
