On July 14th, the commodity price index BPI was 854 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 36.41% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 29.39% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on July 14, 2025, there were a total of 59 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (25 in total) and the steel sector (9 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were dipropylene glycol (4.81%), praseodymium neodymium alloy (4.37%), and praseodymium neodymium oxide (3.85%). There were a total of 66 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (38 in total) and non-ferrous metals (7 in total). The top three products with the highest decline were ethylene glycol diacetate (EGDA) (-2.44%), acetic acid (-2.07%), and isobutyraldehyde (-1.48%).
