March 31 2023 09:46:14SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the domestic vitamin market continued to decline in March, the trading of individual products was relatively active, the overall atmosphere was general, and prices were mainly downward.

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, vitamin C decreased slightly in March, with the average price of food vitamin C at the beginning of the month being 27 RMB/kg, and the average price at the end of the month stabilizing at 25.33 RMB/kg, a decrease of 6.19%. Affected by the continued decline in demand, the market price of vitamin C continued to decline, and there is no obvious positive information guidance in the market, resulting in a weak price of vitamin C that is difficult to correct.

In March, the decline in vitamin A prices slowed down, with an average price of 94 RMB/kg at the beginning of the month and 92 RMB/kg at the end of the month, with a monthly decrease of 2.13%. The quotation for the European market was 23.5-25 euros/kilogram. The demand for vitamin A in the market was weak, and despite constant news from maintenance and parking companies, it had not brought significant benefits to the market. Market purchases and sales were mostly in line with the market, and the focus of price transactions continued to shift downward.

In March, the overall price of vitamin E fell, with the average price of feed grade vitamin E at the beginning of the month being 79 RMB/kg, and the average price at the end of the month being 78.33 RMB/kg, a monthly decrease of 0.85%. The quotation for the European market was 8.0-8.2 euros/kg. Large domestic factories had stopped production for maintenance, and the vitamin E market stabilized in the middle of the month. The willingness of factories to increase prices was evident, with downstream demand primarily on demand.

Market outlook

According to vitamin analysts from SunSirs, the vitamin market demandwas still weak, most of the orders traded were small orders. Without the guidance of significant positive factors, it is expected that the vitamin market will maintain a weak downward trend. In the future, close attention will be paid to market trends and changes in enterprise production.
