Analysis review

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the price of vitamin C increased in May, with a price of 25.33 RMB/kg at the beginning of the month and 25.67 RMB/kg on the 30th, a monthly increase of 1.34%. The vitamin C market factories continued to suspend quoting, with news stating that on May 22nd, the VC production line of Shiyao Group's Weisheng Pharmaceutical planed to stop production for maintenance from June to September.

In May, the price of vitamin A slightly increased, with an average price of 86.67 RMB/kg at the beginning of the month and 87.67 RMB/kg at the end of the month, with a monthly increase of 1.15%. The mainstream market quotation was 88-90 RMB/kg, and the European market quotation was 20-21.5 euros/kg. With frequent news of parking and maintenance of vitamin A factories in Europe and expectations of tightening supply, the domestic vitamin A market had shown active performance, with traders pushing up prices.

Vitamin E slightly increased in May. The mainstream market price was around 68-72 RMB/kg. The European market quotation was 8-8.3 euros per kilogram. Recently, there had been many maintenance plans in China, and the supply side had been favorable. There had been occasional quotation of high prices in the market, which had provided some support for the price increase.

Market outlook
