According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the overall price of caustic soda increased in August. At the beginning of the month, the average price in the Shandong market was 737.4 RMB/ton. At the end of the month, the average price in the Shandong market was around 795 RMB/ton, with an overall increase of 7.81% and a decrease of 24.43% compared to the same period last year. The price of caustic soda had risen overall, and the supply of caustic soda enterprises was tight this month. The demand for downstream alumina was more positive than before, and it is expected that the operation will be mainly strong in the later stage.

Market outlook
