On March 17, the market price of softwood pulp was 6,844 RMB/ton, and the market price of hardwood pulp was 6,190 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
Recently, the spot price of softwood pulp continued to decline, the price of hardwood pulp increased slightly, and the price of pulp futures was on the rise. At present, the coefficient of industrial products has risen, and pulp has also been boosted.
In terms of demand, the letter of price increase in the base paper market continued to be issued, but the implementation was general, downstream paper mills tended to be cautious in purchasing, and the market had a strong wait-and-see atmosphere.
Market outlook
The current state-level stabilization has led to a recovery in market sentiment. However, the excessive drop in pulp prices in the previous period led to the adjustment and decline of spot prices. It is expected that the spot price of wood pulp may fluctuate and adjust in the short term.
