According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the domestic price of sodium metabisulfite fell this month. The average price of industrial grade sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the month was 1,956 RMB/ton, and the average price at the end of the month was 1,953 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.17% within the month.
Analysis review
The domestic market price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite fell this month. Upstream prices of sodium metabisulfite, such as soda ash, rose by 0.34%, and sulfur prices rose by 24.71%. Downstream prices of caprolactam fell by 3.46%, and hydroxylamine hydrochloride prices fell by 1.18%. The impact of rising upstream raw material prices lagged behind, resulting in sluggish transactions and weak prices.
