According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of sodium metabisulfite in China rose this month. The average price of industrial grade sodium metabisulfite was 1,956 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month and 2,200 RMB/ton at the end of the month, an increase of 12.44% within the month.
Market Analysis
The domestic market price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite rose this month. The price of upstream sodium metabisulfite, soda ash, increased by 3.2%, and the price of sulfur increased by 16.85%. The price of downstream caprolactam increased by 8.49%, while the price of hydroxylamine hydrochloride decreased by 12.38%. Affected by the continuous rise in raw material prices and increased demand, the price of sodium metabisulfite increased significantly.
Market Forecast:
Due to rising raw material prices and faster market transactions, the domestic price of sodium metabisulfite is expected to continue to rise in the short term.
