According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the domestic price of sodium metabisulfite fell this month. The average price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite was 2,023 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month and 1,960 RMB/ton at the end of the month, a decrease of 3.13% within the month.
Analysis review
This month, the domestic market price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite fell. The upstream soda ash of sodium metabisulfite fell by 1.98%, the sulfur price fell by 0.5%, and the downstream caprolactam price fell by 2.53%. Both upstream and downstream prices fell, and market transactions slowed down.
Market outlook
At present, the market sales of sodium metabisulfite are lower than expected, and it is expected that the domestic market price may fluctuate and show a weaker trend in the short term.
