SunSirs: Total Sulfur Inventory at Chinese Ports Yesterday
August 22 2025 10:34:00     As of August 20, 2025, total sulfur inventory at Chinese ports was 2.3849 million tons: 480,000 tons at Fangchenggang Port, 103,000 tons at Beihai Port, 385,000 tons at Zhanjiang Port, 995,000 tons at Zhenjiang Port, 62,000 tons at Nanjing Port, and 327,000 tons at Dafeng Port. Liquid sulfur inventory: 12,500 tons at Lianyungang Port, 5,500 tons at Longkou Port, and 14,900 tons at Weifang Port.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on August 22, the benchmark sulfur price at SunSirs was 2,617.67 RMB/ton, a 5.79% increase from 2,474.33 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
Sulfur is the primary raw material for sulfuric acid production, the benchmark sulfuric acid was 730.00 RMB/ton on August 22, a 1.04% increase from 722.50 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
