The average price of industrial grade sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the week was 1,980 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 1,986 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.34%.
Analysis review
Last week, the market price of industrial grade sodium metabisulfite in China had increased. The upstream soda ash price of sodium metabisulfite remained stable last week, while the sulfur price had increased by 2.08% and the downstream caprolactam price had decreased by 2.42%. The market demand increased, and most manufacturers had raised prices, which was supported by favorable factors.
